I did... it ran ok but with a high idle since the nuts on the inside of the box were only tacked on, so they would have been leaking air. didnt bother fully welding them since this one was only test fitment really

Deffo watch this space, the parts should be cut within a week meaning within a week and a half i should have pics of a full stainless box. First 1 will be going on my car, 2nd on a standard engine so i can note down a list of tools required & fitting instructions and parts to put in the kit.

Assuming that goes fine i'll produce and kit up a run of 10 and powdercoat them to order. I can supply them uncoated & ready to paint with your own but will have to wait until i've had at least one done to work out the cost of the process

I was hoping to be able to price these up at £150+ postage, this is still TBC because its not until i've built the first kit when i will know for sure. if it is any more than this it wont be by much though so its all good

As for what it will include:

-Inlet box & throttle bracket constructed fully of 3mm 309 stainless steel, powdercoated (if required) satin black, white, blue or yellow with both gasket faces skimmed for a perfect seal
-Brass vacuum pipe fittings for breather & vacuum pipes
-Both required gaskets
-All required pipes & any relevant joiners/t-peices
-Bracket to mount the parts left hanging from re-positioning of throttle body from original (think it was just a wiring loom and tank vent valve + ignition earth on my car)
-Wiring loom to lengthen original wiring for throttle body electronics (throttle position sensor & idle control valve wiring) This may or may not be required, if it in most cases it is then it will be included in the kit
-All bolts & nuts (also stainless steel) + any washers required
-Cable ties to tidy up any pipes or wiring looms left lying around
-Jubilee clips for breather & coolant pipes
-EGR blanking plate (1mm 309 stainless steel)
-SAI blanking plate (also 1mm 309 stainless steel) this is an optional extra, you can leave the SAI system fitted if you prefer but the plate will be included in the kit either way
-Full fitting guide including pictured/diagrams and a list of tools required to do a proper job

If theres anything people think of that i may have missed out then please ask, any odds and sods i might not think of until i actually get round to fitting the first one on a standard engine. Anything i use will be included in the kit, bar the tools themselves of course

One thing the kit will not include is the intake pipe, a posh alloy or stainless one or even an OE vauxhall one (i've heard cavalier TD pipes are perfect) would push the price up a fair amount and i cant rely on there being a ready supply of used ones from the local scrappy so its best i leave people to source their own, theres such a choice of used pipes that will fit (i used an ancient BMW one when i first fitted my mantzel, was perfect lol)

Hopefully this is informative enuf, but as usual questions are welcome
