is it still true that your employer is meant to pay towards your glasses, if you require them for work?!

because my new glasses are going to cost loads..well the len's are just £100 odd and really dont want to take the piss with new job and asking for them to pay ..lol
just wondered if this was llike a law! lol

They have to pay your optical test, and probablly a certain amount towards lenses if you can prove you need them to work/due to working in the place your eyes gone worse

but it did cost me £15 for the eye test..with a pervy optician.... :S

My old employer paid for my eyes tested. I just took the receipt back into work and they refunded me.

The optician i used to go to was a right perv, i aint been back in 5 years.

They have to pay for your eye test if your working with computers all day
