Yeah, we're going for the league this year so only put our second rate players in this comp, unlike United who realise its one of their best chances of winning something this season.

The Carling cup is 4th on our priority list...hence the reserve side with Fernando looking to get a run out to improve his fitness...

Even the likes of Pennant and Benayoun didnt play who you would say are stone wall fringe players...

We were FANTASTIC last night, Owen Coyle is a hero - Every game we attack, and it wasn't any different at Chelsea. Great performance and fully deserved bring on Rovers!

Pens..

And it's all over..

On the basis of our performance and the style of football we play, IF we get promoted this season I think we'll stay up.

Pavuchencho (spelling) did start! Also every one of Spurs starting side has played in the premiership this year...

We we're missing from the starting 11:

Reina
Arbeloa
Carragher
Aurelio
Alonso
Gerrard
Mascherano
Riera
Kuyt
Keane

Thats not counting the better fringe players of Benayoun...Pennant...and even Skirtel who was missing through injury...

I'm not that concerned we are out the cup to be honest...and I am not making excuses...we we're beaten fair and square.

I have seen it, but our team was not the team who have been playing every other game under Harry, the team we played was most of our 2nd side.

I know all supporters of the big teams class it as a mikey mouse cup, but at the end of the day if you where to win it, you would be ranting and raving anyway.

Seriously I now see it as an added distraction. We play enough games as it is. I'm not saying i wouldnt like to win it, but if we get knocked out I'm not too arsed. The big 4 see the prem and the CL as there priorities. Its sad but this cup has lost its appeal hence the big teams fielding practically youth teams or 1st teamers in need of fitness.

Or certain teams have stronger squads, so even when they field a weakened team its still a strong line up!!
