Mine didn't tell me, I just realised when checking when the last major service was. Bloody Toyota, they lure you in with their promise of a reliable car then break your heart with hefty bills!

Any bare exposed surface metal will rust though. nothing can be done unless it is painted.

Hell yeah. It'll still be under warranty - I take it you bought direct from Citroen? I'd take it back, get it fixed and get a courtesy car too.

I wouldn't bother, you don't get a courtesy car for warrenty work and the monkey is likely to do it wrong anyway.

Just prep it and sort it as siad

Yeah direct from citroen, while i have 3 years warrenty i'm going to be using it. Thing is the last courtesy car i got offered for a day was a 1ltr c1 Too which i said i'd sit in the garage and wait for the work to be done

You do get a courtesy car, Vauxhall were a bunch of bastards with my missus when hers went in the other week though!

Replace rear window, and she wanted a car to get into town, someone took her in her own car, then put it in garage to find some clown hadn't ordered a new rear window so rang her and then came to pick her up in her own car to take back to garage to then go home

I'll be taking it next time and will be getting a courtesy car and using more than the equivilent in petrol / tyres / clutch /

I covered mine in grease on the corsa, then a little plastic cap over the end to keep the grease in and were fine for 2+ yrs

I don't think they would replace the strut no way for bit of surface rust!
