why not?
go in to multiplayer,
join specific game,
click on the host/ip.
enter the ip addr,
enter the password
connect

i cant download the new version of directx 9 to play i only have direct x 8.0 and it says that there is a missing inf file to complete th intstalation doing my bloody head in
