one of my mates reckoned they are Kahn ones. Weigh a ton though...so reckon they are only cheapies. The Ripspeed wheels in work are lighter than these things!

It's a shame it's a 4 stud because the new Vectra 19" snowflakes would look stunning on this. Supposed it's not too much hassle to convert though.

On mine you can see the "Dezent" on the centre cap under the paint, can't tell if your says is but they look pretty similar (just bigger than mine)

Okay, got some things done today

Managed to get another oil change done...got a GM oil filter and bottle of 10w40 in there, so thats all good. I also got the alternator and power steering belts changed...so thats fine and dandy. Just making my way through replacing whatever bits i can, so i know they are done.

Also managed to get the decat pipe on, although the cat turned out to not be a cat at all! It was jut another silencer i think, but it had holes everywhere anyways...so defo needed replacing!

Old section:

New Section offered up..

...and fitted

Unfortunately, i didnt manage to get the bilsteins fitted...but that can be done at some other point...

All in all, good day. im going to head down to the guys who did all the carbs set-up and things i couldn't on the corsa, AB Garage tomora and see if they can do a quick fault test for me.

I do think its the cam/crank sensor playing up...but we'll see tomora.

I have also managed to get yet another project bargain...a set of Vec GSi phase 1 alloys. Getting them on Tuesday night, and they are most definitely a feckin immense bargain!

Pics when they arrive...

Well...todays buy and bargain of the week...

I managed to find a buy a set of Vectra GSi Phase 1 wheels from a local guy, and with the price...i just had to have them.

They need a refurb, but i can do that as i did it with my cesaros on the corsa 18 months ago Tyres are in decent nick as well! two are 215/45 and two are 225/45. Am mega pleased anyways...

Here's some pics, but i'll get some decent ones in the daylight when i can.

Yea, i noticed you had a tail light out tho mark...just so you dont get picked up by teh rozzers. (Lawton that is - damn two marks replying together )

the only worry wit matt black is that its impossible to clean. Its gonna have to be a polishable surface gotta be shiney and clean in the summer

How crap...i've got bad news. I'm selling up.

Unfortunately my life has developed and i am unable to maintain the project.

I'm getting a newer car, i wont disclose that yet...but im gonna have to get a loan and so wont have spare cash for restoring this.

So...it needs to go to a better home and someone who wants one to play with.

Sale ad is in the 'Cars for sale' area of classifieds. I'm after £1200 ono, so ask me if you are interested.
