In bed, no walking or very little (i.e. to the bog) for a week. No driving or operating machinery etc but if i dont i then cant live. Not to do any heavy lifting ever, did it 6 years ago initially and basically has ruined what i wanted to do.
Although when i worked drinks at waitrose it was the best it has ever felt as i was building the muscle around it, no i sit at a desk 99% of the time its getting worse

yeah mate thats bad but if it keeps getting worse you cannot avoid the advice from the doctors. I would speak to your work and see if you can come to some arrangement like working from home, you might be able to do work from a laptop or something or do some limited hours. Havent you got any money saved up to cover these sort of situations?

I would have thought you would have had to take something but I imagine it will be whether it's for illness or just death.
See what you can find and give them a call though as I assume that would be your biggest outgoing taken care of
From experience it's a ballache to get sorted but well worth it

im pretty sure the bottom line is if you are self employed or contracting and you cant work you have to claim benefits or whatever. The whole risk aspect of contracting is that you can get binned quite quickly (contract depedant thou) and you dont get sick/holiday pay??
I doubt you would get your house taken off you Mike you could always call apon your parents to help you out surely?
Also how about your bint who has binned off college? she can go get a job too surely?
At the end of the day keeping your house and bills paid is alot more important then splashing out on christmas IMO.

Luckily job is safe for another 32 months so wont get binned as such
I agree far more important, just a bit gutting as last few christmas' have been pish and first one by myself wanted to be epic.
Becky will need to start looking, she only does 4 hours a week so im sure she will get more
Parents will probably give a hand but dont like asking

At least you don't have a homless-looking man trying to get off with you, Lawraaaaah.
My dad just sent me an email about a car at a very local garage, 52 reg Corsa 1.2 SXi. "I know it's a small one but thought I'd let you know.........." Up for £3495.
If they would take £3k for it then I'd chuck a ZLET in it
