So top gear isn't 100% factual, makes things up for comedy effect and has to do lots of laps to get the required shots.
I didn't know that, lucky that guy was there on the day to find that out, he's uncovered something we'd have never known otherwise

Thats what I thought. I'm sure everyone knows its set up by now
TBH from my point of view I didn't think anything of the fact that they didn't do a proper lap in the kit car. You could tell it was fake and not a true representation of the car. He is worried that himself and that kit car supplier are going to go out of business now?
I didn't even know they existed and I'm sure plenty of others didn't so I would of thought he'll be busier than ever? I'd be straight out to buy one if I had the money, I bet plenty of people do.

May is a pilot, he wouldn't have knowingly went anywhere near an aerodrome unless he had permission, he'd also personally get shafted, which he'd never have done.

My mum got me the Top Gear book of 2009 as a present and it tells you all about the scripting process and filming schedule. It's almost entirely scripted.
Also, I'm quite enjoying how Gary has taken every single piece of Nic's bait.

... It's fake, so he wouldn't get in trouble or anything... as every party involved is fully aware of what is happening.
If you watch it again, apart from the one stationary plane on the air field, you never see a single plane / helicopter in shot with the air balloon... probably to film that sketch he took off from that airport... all air traffic was halted. Notice the police chopper was just archive footage, looked like the usual footage off of sky cops being used.

then you are in the elie on corsasport and the internet with a free pass to comment on any thing that you want.
why dont all the corsasport gods that have been to the ring get together to make a weekly hour long youtube clip with what they think of cars and motoring in general so all the people that have been to the ring and dont like top gear have something to watch?

Couldn't give a shit if it's scripted or not, it's entertaining and makes me laugh so I'll continue to watch it. If it was a show reviewing the latest Volvos and Fiats people would get bored and complain just as much.
