We've averaged 27mpg on the trip.
But tbh, it doesn't really get driven in anger, more of a daily work car for Donna.

Springs & RARB first, that makes the most difference to the way it drives for the price paid.

See refferring to your house replies. If I REALLLLLY wanted my own place, thats another £900+ (inc fuel) that could be put towards a deposit.

will it ever get more power?
just a random question but how come you stuck with oem dampers? or are they good enough?

It's mapped now to 270bhp 340lb/ft and was enough to see off an M3CSL so it should see off a Focus RS as well which is fast enough.
When I spoke to Dave Pearce who owned DAP and worked at 888 he said that the OEM dampers work brilliantly on the Astra VXR and they really aren't worth changing unless upgrading to the KW Varient 3's.
The DAP-R springs are so perfectly suited to work with the standard dampers it's actually more comftable than the standard springs. DAP stopped trading this year as he has gone back into working with race teams but as they springs were so good Courtenay made sure they secured the rights to sell them.

Nahh thats true, I was just saying from the convo the other day. Im assuming ass out rental
The standard one can't quite keep up with an M3 Tried a few times..
Actually, that said, Donnas cors saw off an M3, so it must be quicker than the astra, never thought of that
