agreed, but the tt shocks do have a premium, and the v6 brake disks are

what size are the v6 brakes?

334, a bit bigger than mine (323)

Paul you need to drop the idea of the TT mate...

To save money with a second car but still have fun the only options you have are..

106GTI
SAXO VTR/VTS
CLIO 172/182

These will all give you 30+ MPG and be a hoot to drive. The only reason i never got one is because i need the bigger car.

I'm ok thanks, I'll just keep the s2000.

It's a myth if you think having a 106 gti / saxo / clio 172 will be cheap. My 106 gti went through 4 gearboxes, new rear beam, 2 coil packs, 3 injectors, 1 engine temp sensor, 1 tps sensor, 2 map sensors, set of engine mounts, about 3 clutches, etc... the new owner had it a month, the gearbox went. Then the head gasket, then now the bottom end has gone.

- Yes ... money in the bank.

- VAG is reliable.

My car has been pretty reliable over the 45k miles I've done in it.
Had the common Ignition Coil failure and the speed sensor went.

EGT sensor fell out and broke.
and a Brembo seized up (can't blame VAG for that, really). I blame the dust from the DS2500s

It's always started and hasn't broken down yet.

There was something involving poo and my boxers when you drove my car

It would be awesome with most if not all the power going to the back
