Got this last night, playing career mode atm and loving it. Only thing is i wish they would sub me when im fucked as my player can only cope with 2 games close together (Sat, tues) right now.
Apart from that, excellent, scored from a cross when i went to whip it in it got some mental curve and caught the keeper out and flew into the middle of the goal

Aye, you could on 09 too but there doesnt seem to be an option on this one for it, unless ive missed it, nothing when you press pause anyway.

Played it for 8 hours with my mates yesterday Took a couple of games to get back into the stride, but once you're into it, the passing becomes second nature again. Lost my first game at 4:30pm, didn't lose or draw another until 3am

Does anyone elses controller turn off everytime you hit the crossbar or posts? Every fucking time and then it fucks up your chance of scoring on the rebound.
Done it to me in the demo as well as the game.

Bought this yesterday, played 8 games for Crewe in the virtual pro bit.
Myself as a player, i'm shit, so i'm not blaming that. The virtual pro thing is painful as well, takes an age to do anything on it
But I really don't like how slow the game is, the passing isn't very good (may just need to get used to it), I can't shoot well from anywhere outside the box with anyone, the corners aren't very good, the AI is pretty poor, my defenders are constantly running under the ball. The only goals i'm scoring are from one-twos off the front man, which although satisfying when it works, i'm still finding it hard to score 1 on 1 with the default camera angle.
I'll admit i'm an Evo boy (which I'll be getting on friday), but really wanted to give this a chance as I wanna play with Crewe! I'll be keeping both anyway.
All the above problems could well be because i'm playing as a shit team, and i'm sure with a few games as a prem/international team i'll enjoy it more, but so far, me no likey.
I know 90% of people prefer Fifa now, but just wanted to put my view up here!

cavey - you just need to practice, I cant play EVO for the life of me unless i have a few games to warm up.
When 1 on 1 try using R1 and shoot and aim for the post you are running towards. or if you are running straight on then the post on the side of their kicking foot.

The virtual pro part is IMMENSE.
You start with a shit player and have to train up by playing different positions and winning games.
You can have anything upto 11 players in your team then play a team of the same number. We have been doing 3v3 / 4v4 for past few days and since your playing humans its a challenge to win!
