That map is actually too big for sniping  I've had a marksman headshot with over 400 bonus points on it though pretty much as far as I could see I literally shot 20 feet above his head to compensate the bullet drop.

Lost of awesome sniper spots on HM, you just have to have a wander up the mountains and see where you can get without killing yourself

one pair of fools thought they were clever parachuting their way on to the top of a wind turbine then firing rockets at everyone. needless to say there was a bit of BOOM HEADSHOT action from my sniper rifle shortly afterwards

i am officially shit at BFBC2 You really have to think about where your aiming, COD is so much more easier ie: point, shoot. I'm not Rank 1 though

Sniping you do yeah, you have to take bullet drop into consideration  you soon get the hang of it though. It takes alot longer to rank up, I mainly stick to sniping and it's took me 2 weeks of play (about 100 hours) to get to rank 14.

Each game I play is over an hour though, the tickets are set to 998 for each teams so the games last forever.

On the server I play on they have eliminated baserape aswell, if someone kills the enemy in their spawn they die themselves, do it 3 times and you get kicked/temp banned, same for team kills, when me and Dom were playing before I ran to his spawn to steal the heli and he spawned there, couldn't shoot at him incase I killed him so I took the heli and flew off

Need to play Heavy Metal again tonight. It's like a proper war.
Wish it would allow more people on each side on Heavy Metal as the map is easily vast enough to cope with it.

Then you need to equip the dart gun and the CG, or take them down with a tank, that's always a good thing to do

Problem is if you get someone that's really good in the helicopter it's nearly impossible to get a tracer dart on it.
If that shit starts happening I just run off on foot and stay to the edges of the map and look for other people that are interested in entering mortal combat with me without the use of a helicopter.

Oh how i wish the PS3 had this, its the one thing that infuriated me. People hiding out in the back of the base waiting for you to spawn in, then taking you down, meant you had to scout the base for enemies before you could progress forward.
I definitely haven't done that before

I may have hidden behind a tree and shot 3 people with my shotgun as they spawned on their base  Then hunted out the sniper that got away and hid in a building and shot him too
