I know what you're saying mate, but really, indicating is no problem in this high performance machine. The tape basicvally gains me extra JDM points when I'm sliding the local touge.

Your opinion of my car seems to change some what making your argument lack direction. Maybe consider your true feelings for the car and then try and let them out in a concise, clear manor..

Thanks for your input any way mate

Probably in the new year now, I've got an idea where I want the car to be and it's not quite there yet, for example I know if I take it on track it will overheat and die. So I need to get the oil cooler fitted and buy a twin core aluminium rad! It's just a case of having the £££!

As for stripping I've looked into it but the gains just don't outweigh the cons for me and as for a rollcage..I've been looking into a full 6 pointer!

Update

Polybushed my rear subframe

Burnt bushes out!

Fitted new bushes

No fitted pics, has made a noticeable improvement to the solidarity of the back end. It's a lot more obvious what is going on especially with how much I can feel through my seat!

Also sorted out the rotten passenger sill as a hole had appeared

Made the hole big

Removed all rust and sprayed Por15 metal ready liberally before welding the 3 layers together and then fitting a patch.

and got a nice moody front end shot whilst it was jacked up. Wish it could run this low!

Update

Brought a Z32 rear brake setup for a bit of a steal, the pads and shoes were knackered but the disks are a healthy 17.4mm. Striped it all apart.

There has already been quite a bit of cleaning and the disk shields have been sand blasted.

Carried on the cleaning process, including spraying the calipers (paint stripped the large amount of red hammerite off!) and disk shields, painting a few other bits by hand and had a few bits cadmium plated. Will commence the rebuild of the calipers soon.

I've got hold of the braided lines off of DB Power,

some second hand shoes with 3mm on them and will soon getting some OEM pads off of DaveSX

Should be fitted sometime in Jan, I've also ordered up the fittings to remove the ABS unit whilst I'm at it.

Got this Z32 AFM to turbo stainless intake pipe off of the apex group buy as well, once I'd been informed the larger joiner needed to be heated and stretched over all was well.

Pic of it fitted 'in situ' on my GT2871 setup

Yep let my XE go with my private reg on an the buyer ended up being a nob and I nearly lost it. Bad times.

In other news.

Car passed it's MOT on thursday which is good news!

Discovered quite a hole in the centre section of my Nur Spec though from a few too many run ins with the road!

Going to cut the bottom of the centre section off and weld a thick flat plate on instead hopefully should give more clearance at the same time. Also going to chop the bottom of the centre section to back box flange off and just weld them together too as I don't see a need for them to separate.

Then got to fit my oil cooler and my Z32 rear brake set up, it's a killer not being allowed to work on my parents drive

Thegsi: yea dave put it straight through, he's a tester you know, and I think I may just bring it over this Saturday for some oil cooler fitting!

Nathan: Cheers mate, I think doing the C20XE conversion in my corsa on the drive pushed my mom over the edge and now I'm not allowed to work on it unless they are away

Pridzz: Progress will happen soon, the Z32 rear brake set up is ready to go, infact I've literally just painted up the fittings on the R33 hanbdbrake cables! I've sold all the aftermarket bumpers I've bought, the last one I bought fit like it was made for a corsa!
