Gotta work on it, as Rich said, just talk to those you think are below you as you will be confident talking to them and work your way up the ladder, you dont have to bone them or wife them off, its just to get your confidence up.
You can be ugly (youre not) and there could be a fit girl in a club that all the guys are oogling, but most will be too shy to say anything. Comes down to the age old saying of he who dares wins
