iv never been keen on this kind of thing but if thats what they want to do they can get on with it, but i think the family need to be asked first especially if they are going to be emailed a video from a load of random people

well you have to remember you dont know what the family is thinking, you might find it fitting, but for all you know they could now hate the whole car scene and blame it, rightly, or wrongly, for attributing to his death.

Then if you lot go around sending them videos of you lot in cruising about in modded cars they may consider it rubbing it in there face and find it upsetting.

This is why you need to find out before doing this stuff

UPDATE:

Received this earlier today:

Hi Chris,

We are very sorry to hear about your clubs sad loss.

I am sure we can try to organise something in honour of Connor over the weekend. Please can you advise your club secretary or events organiser to contact Ian Cruickshank upon booking and mention this.

Kind Regards

Tom Davis

Do I u2u Ian now or is it Willay that deals with the booking?

Either Will or I can deal. As I said, I would like to follow the lead of the close friends/family before going ahead and organising anything. Obviously if they wish to get something underway we'll put that forward officially.

They organise PVS.

Yes, Chris has been in contact. Not doing anything for a while anyway, plan is to see how everyone feels nearer the time.

When my friend died in 2007, alot of people turned out to the memorial I organised with a few others.

We found out the woman who crashed into them was looking at her dogs on the back seat trying to calm them down whilst going round a corner They then crashed head on

We done it every year but I missed last year as i paid my respects at his grave instead.

Good turnout, bet he wouldve liked that.

Is it just me that things burnouts at a memorial cruise are inappropriate or am I just not a boy racer?
