It's been a long time since I visited CS, let alone posted anything.

Pete and i met on here and he went on to be a significant chapter of my life and someone i will never forgot.

I know PVD caused problems, but we only ever had the best intentions, regardless of how misguided these sometimes were. I look back now and 21 and 22 is so young. If anyone has any old photos it would be great to see them.

We hadn't spoken for 6 years and i often thought about contacting him but was too stubborn to do so. I will always regret that.

All my love and memories, Vicki.

I can actually remember exactly where I was in 2001, chatting on my PC getting really excited as Pete told me a C20XE Corsa would have similar performance down the 1/4 as a standard escort cosworth. (His words and this made me cream and get very excited as I sat there budgeting for it)

Although I never met Pete I think this would be a decent idea, considering how he influenced the whole modified corsa scene etc

RIP Pete. Daimo B contacted me on Facebook to let me know the sad news.

I seems very strange being on here with a few of the people from over 10 years ago.

A good mate over the years, I met Pete here on CS and nagged him until he agreed to let me redesign the PVD website.

I ended up working with him in one capacity or another for the next ten years.

Such a tragic loss of a life. RIP Pete.

Hi John - I'd prefer to keep this thread on topic (out of respect for Pete) so won't post pics here. But I will dig around and see if I can post some pics/vids in another thread later today

Donna found an old "PVD on Tour" t-shirt last night, along with the pictures of C3 when Pete picked it up. Shes got some photos of him that im going to scan in an host up.

Nothing planned yet, but Andy and I have mentioned an old reunion at some point this summer for those that got on. Looking at the users posting, seeing 1999/2000/2001 sign ups is quite surreal.

I'll contact those who I think may be interested in the near future.

Donna looked in the loft last night.

Found a spotless catalogue. It looked great back then, good quality, well laid out. Mk4 Astra had just come out!!!

Also Donna found a photo that Max Power took. This was an the very first battle, Corsa Vs Nova day. We all turned up with standard engines (Stu Smith, was you there with your 2.0????) and the Novas had turbos, nitrous etc. Petes car and the Prism blue Nova were taken for a photoshoot. This picture was used as PVD's main image.

Also she found some pictures of them im America and France.
