The problem with head tracking like that is that - in reality, you look into the apex of the corner...

In this however you turn your head towards the apex of the corner, but look the other way back at the screen...

i dont think it will feel natural at first but when you get used to it and readjust, i think it may be ok

looks like the textures are just a bit bland maybe, doesnt look like there is any bump mapping
