Btw any lovely Southern people that headed back towards Silverstone on the A43 - this is worth knowing. There's some random road that runs right next to the A43 for one bit just before one of the roundabouts so if you go down there you can skip loads of traffic. I shot down there and got so far ahead that a pair of bikers re-overtook me
It's this turning here: link. Also if it's queued over the roundabout (which it probably will be like it was yesterday) then it may be worth taking the first exit at the next roundabout. It goes in the right direction of where I wanted to go so avoided sitting in hours of traffic, but it may not be a good route for everyone.

im glad i got to see you again pow
overall after arriving at approx 4pm sat evening, i started drinking straight away tbh, waiting for my stand pass to come round form some random, just so i could park my car not in the public carpark! 
drunk by 6pm - good times, had a good laugh with the folks i was with , felt ill after fairground - and it was bloody freezing! went to bed!

oh and i got my car trashed inside by the gate security searching for bottles! i had to hide them everywhere, and everytime he moved somthing i had to move bottles about! divs tbh.
luckily none found! :/
