Fad that is god awful and far to scene.
I havent decided yet, the idea just seemed appealing to give a more modern look. I will most likely just get the ones you posted in the ebay link though!

The one Fad posted looks lovely. Much better than the angel eyes. My mate put a set on his E46 and I actually really like them, but they don't seem to suit that E36

However, the yellow you talk of is possible too.
my dad had them on his e36, looked really nice. only thing id say is get the indicators to go with it, dad didnt get them for his which i think let it down massively.
Nice car btw, hardly see any of the old m3's anymore which is a shame!

Headlights are glass mate! Otherwise some toothpaste or G3 and they would have come up a treat,.

hello mate when i did mine i went straght to bmw and bought the lense's brand new werent to dear and de lensed the innner ones made the car look alot fresher.
