told you strongbow was the way
polished off all of my stew last night with a stack of bread and butter
consisted of:
2 carrots
2 parsnips
1 onion
1 swede
pack of closed cup mushrooms
400g diced lamb
stock made from:
1 lamb stock cube
1 herb infusion stock pot
3/4 tsp of fresh garlic puree
800ml boiled water
all cooked on slow for approx 9 hours. stirred 2-3 times throughout the day

I've joined the Slow Cooker clique.
Got a proper budget £9 Asda job lol. Its got 2 settings - high & low.
Its only 3L but will be enough for now. Still will take a small beef/gammon joint etc.
Got some steak, carrots, potato, onions, mushrooms to go in tomorrow. Going to make stock from oxo cube, red wine, horseradish and water.
Quite exited tbh.
Wanted to do Gammon but Jen reckons she doesn't like it, but she loves ham and bacon so don't understand it tbh.
Will be doing gammon next time anyway.
