liking the expressions mate..something different! i remember doing the same when i fitted my SXI's, thought it looked higher til i took the handbrake off ahahaha

with some nice weather we started striping the car down ready for new coil spring


While my dad was doing that i gave the engine bay a little clean need rocker cover thing and manifold cover badly!




coil spring is being a right pain in the but and wont come apart :@

the horrible 1l engine bays, hate mine! only difference is mine has an ecotec cover on

painted old shock last night and went and got a few bits and bobs today



compressing the spring is a right pain in the arse. the clamp things are so so old haaa, if one brakes its going to go through the roof ahaa

front coil springs in big white boxes
long blue ones are the rear shocks
track rod end for front driver side
wheel bearing for rear driver side
blue hammerite and some underseal

sweet, think you should keep the expressions mate! change the tyres and put stretch tyres on, something like 165s will look good! thats my plans when i run down my tyres on mine, waiting for some opel centre caps for mine, just the stick on ones from china but they were only £2 so i thought id give them a try, they'll probs be crap but ohwell! ask your dad if he'd like refurb my wheels for me

yeahh i think i will now i was thinkin about getting stretched ones, will see when the time comes ahaa, they would look sweet streched like, i bought some griffin ones off ebay and they where to big :/ i think im going to get transformer center caps just for the fun of it haaha, he has warned me that he will never refurb wheels like the expressions ever again! so theres no chance unfortunately ahaa

yeah transformer centre caps will be different seen alot of people with transformer front and rear badges but not centre caps, haha there a nightmare to clean, nevermind spray them, wana do mine so bad, but the chew on is putting me off

clean them with a alloy brush! saves loads of time im thinking about it for the summer, dont know what colour i want though

im not keen on black with polished lip, want the lip done so its a mirror polished lip then dont know about the middles! got black centre caps atm. i wonder what arden blue wheels will look like with a arden blue car!

finaly got all the front drivers side sorted out, my dad had to use the grinder to get the old track rod end off haaha



then i painted my calipers blue as they where looking a bit poo!



my dads finaly learnt how to use a camera and took a few of me -_- so heres one of me in action!



im glad we finished that side, stripped the otherside now and will put it together tomorrow then the two rear shocks should be simple change tomorrow evening or the day after, i just want to drive it again now

Yeah it is i think im ready now, had 5 lessons with bill plant and my instructer was amazed i had never driven before aha, been driving my car around since those lessons so i have improved loads, just going to get my sisters bday (27th) out of the way then i will be booking it

just a quick update!!

front springs are on and calipers are painted so my dads going to do the rear shocks tomorrow while i sand and paint the drums. will be ordering sportex racetube tomorrow to hopefully!
