Nissan notes are cheap to, 58 plates for just over 4.5k, % of depresiation seems similar to that of the Mazda 6, losing 6/7k in the first year.
Japanese thing I guess.

Was going to say you need to buy German to get better % for depresiation, but losing 10k in a year doesn't seem great, just seems the following years are a little less.

if he is willing to wait a year - waiting list is over a year

Also second hand will still be over 25k and there's better cars for that money

waiting list on all but standards - you can drive out of the showroom today with an absoloute standard, base spec model but if you want one single extra, you'll be at the back of the 12month queue.

Missus' Mum has cancelled her 6month order and bought a Disco4 instead.

July Build, September delivery is possible on the Evoque depending on who you speak to.
Spec amendable pipeline with delivery in May is even a possibility - just depends on how much you want to pay!

Gimme a full fat range anyday of the week tbh. Thought the evoque would look better in the flesh but it really doesn't

I like the 3 door Evoques with big wheels but it kind of defeats the object!

I'd have any Kia because you get a 7yr warranty, now that's piece of mind.

I'd have a 3dr, 4wd Evoque in the above red - infact, as soon as they're a reasonable second hand buy, I might just have one

I quite liked the drive of the 4wd variant, I wasn't as keen on the 2wd though. By no means is it a sports car but comparing it to the Disco3/Vogue, it drove quite nicely and was capable enough off road
