your comparing something completely different, you said and i quote

which to me is not true, there is still the same odds of 1,2,3,4,5,6 coming out of the camelot machine as 6 random numbers

yes there is, there is a 1 in 14 million or whatever chance of winning the normal lottery, if you buy a ticket with numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6 your odds at 1 in 14 million.

if you buy a lucky did with completely random numbers your odds are still 1 in 14 million of winning.

You have the same odds of winning whatever your numbers, the likelihood of numbers coming out in order is less than random ones, but that doesnt change your odds of winnings. 1,2,3,4,5,6 is just one of the sequences in your 14million.

Also you don't half your odds by buying two tickets. if you halved it each time you bought a ticket you wouldn't need to buy 14 million tickets.

actually, 1 in 14m is just the likelihood of it being a particular combination, the odds of you winning the lottery are significantly higher

what do you mean? if you buy a ticket you have an approx 1 in 14 million chance. thats the chances of winning the jackpot (on the normal lottery)
