I used to walk about 3 miles to school, was harsh as well as the last bit was up the biggest fuck off hill you can imagine.

I found it actually wakes you up and gets you more prepared for school.

The exercise gets your blood pumping.

Have the kids tried walking the 3 miles out of interest? May be worth trying.

Tbf little kids take forever to walk anywhere, little legs and they get bored.

I walked 3 miles to high school once I was 11 but did about a mile to primary school before that.

My school was 2 mins around the corner from where i lived and before i moved there i used to get the bus to school. Im not fat or dead and im probably more fit than you lot who walked 3 miles both ways to primary school.

9/10 a parents will use transport because they have stuff to do before they pick up their kid(s) later that day.

i used to walk about 2 mile to and back from the bus stop at night

the joys of living in the sticks.

most peoples kids probably dont walk 3 miles to school because they dont need to, but saying they dont do it because would be knackered all day just about sums it all up really

my neighbour was taking her kids to school this morning and she was telling them to get in the car and a big arguement broke out, (single mum with 4 boys) the boys wanted to run alongside the car, i was hiding behind the blinds wanking and laughing about it all.
