not sure of the exact aussie laws but its a technicality they might trip up on.

The interception, recording and monitoring of telephone calls is governed by a number of different pieces of UK legislation. The requirements of all relevant legislation must be complied with. The main ones are:

Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (”RIPA”)
Telecommunications (Lawful Business Practice)(Interception of Communications) Regulations 2000 (”LBP Regulations”)
Data Protection Act 1998
Telecommunications (Data Protection and Privacy) Regulations 1999
Human Rights Act 1998

If procedure is followed, yeah.

Jonathan Ross and Russel Brand are examples of that not happening.

Whats the difference between a practical joke and a temperature?

Nurses can take a temperature.

Depends on what the protocol is though. If the first nurse was supposed to confirm the caller's identity before passing the call through then the breach is down to her as it should never have reached the second nurse, the fact it was passed through was most likely confirmation to her that it was a family member and therefore certain details could be divulged. If that's not the case then there's even less reason for the suicide as she wouldn't have held any fault.

And apparently the Royal Family didn't make a formal complaint. I mean, you can't get any higher. If they don't give a fuck, no-one does.

I can't think of many things I'd care about less than the royal family making a complaint about me, other than I'd be taken out shortly after that of course.

Prince Charles was laughing and joking about the prank call the day after. He thought it was epic banter.

Very strange not 1 media outlet has said something like 'was found hanging' or 'had taken deadly cocktail of drugs'.

Entire thing stinks imo.

About 30% there mate

Kyle and Jackie-O were running a segment on lie detectors and it just went sour unintentionally. Kyle said the wrong thing, but it wasn't deliberate, more a case of not thinking before speaking. I am still surprised that the 30second delay wasn't enough to pull the segment off air and go straight to a song or something

It wasn't an interview. Today Tonight is the biggest piece of shit on television that focuses on anything likely to spark a reaction in the viewers i.e. speeding or waking up old people with loud music
