Burgers should only be rare if its decent meat. Like made from minced fillet etc.

I do love a Ribeye. But I love a bit of crispness on the fat, and the outside so it tends to be medium.
A little grind of salt and pepper, is all it needs.

We are quite lucky in Australia, we have generally excellent cuts of beef even in the shonkiest supermarkets.
Our local woolworths do premium cut T-Bones/ribeyes that are around 500g cooked and they are just sensational.
As said above, a bit of salt and ground black pepper on one side to season before cooking and bam - job done.

Cows living in hot countries look skinnier and unhealthy compared to wet countries. We have better quality grass meaning the cows are happy. We all know happy cows grow better steaks.

Proper grass fed cows produce more nutritious meat. Undisputable fact.

CS has an improper picture of Scottish women because K17STY and Lawrah are on here.

Steak should be rare. I used to eat it well done when I was a kid and it was also tough and chewy with most of the flavour lost but now its always rare. Simply tastes so much better.

Many cattle in Australia are raised in temperate environment like the NSW central tablelands. There is a lot of rainfall there every year. The cows are rather plump
My friend's family own a cattle station there and I can tell you now the cows are extremely well fed. Australia is 7th largest producer of beef cattle in the world. Much of it is exported.
