I think the FA will be changing a few of their rules over the summer.

It's happened quite a few times this season that players have got away with things because of that rule.

Although saying that, i'm not sure where I sit on it all, once they start changing referee decisions after the event it could end up anywhere, and they could end up re-refereeing every match every week which would be farcical.

If the referee comes out and admits he's wrong (which i don't think any ref would) then maybe a decision should change?

There was a pretty awful tackle by Gouffran in the derby that he got away with a yellow for, not a red. - It would undermine referees completely

Finally watched the "tackle" and it's pretty fucking shocking, although made me laugh with how bad it was, and wondering what the fuck he was trying to do

Gotta laugh at the "If that happened in the street he'd be arrested" brigade every time there's a "tackle" like that, most pointless arguement ever

Sometimes needs must though. The McManaman challenge is by far the worst yet and he got away with it. Was it Thatchers elbow that was the first challenge to get video treatment after? I can't remember if he was sent off for it and got extended or if he only got done off the replay.

I remember Thatchers elbow, yeah, not sure about the video stuff though

Halsey admitted that if he'd seen the McManaman one properly he would of given a red, so i think in that instance it should of been changed.

This one, the ref said he'd seen it. IF he then comes out and says, yeah I got that wrong, then I think it should change as well.

BUT as I said, it could easily go way over the top and managers could start complaining about every tackle and it could easily escalate quickly

Some are way more obvious though. The fact Mancini was squirming in his interview said enough about his thoughts.

Probably paid off the ref, City always get away with things. Should be banned from Europe and given a transfer embargo.

Although I'm actually a bit more sympathetic to the twat, he could of been minding his own business when a horse came towards him, shocked, he took evasive action, now looks like he was trying to hit a horse.

Its gonna be a toughie, I think Rosicky and Mertesacker will be back in the team that should help (alogn with Szcz by the sounds of things) but we'll need a good performance and a good atmosphere, which is not always apparent on weekday non-CL games :/ Everton are in form and need the points more than we do arguably.

We have some tricky away games coming up. If we cant get 3 points in our home games then we will make it harder for ourselves. Need a big performance tonight.
