Just to be a total penis. It's not even correct - Robin was right in the first place because "who" is the subject of the verb "to teach" and so should be nominative. "Whomever" would be correct if it were the object of the verb, e.g. "Whomever you taught was a mong" where it becomes the accusative form.

I was just seeing if anyone would pick me up on it; I should have known it would be you!
