Radical, if you're going to drive a car that's the same colour as the tarmac, at speed, with no lights on (Like it says in the video), then you should expect things like that, then when they happen, pull over and help, don't ram the car out the way and keep driving...

FFS

On a track (day, race etc) the LAST thing you want to do is stop and fanny about on the track

The radical was doing some speed and its not as easy to slow down and move as you'd think when your in a fast car, once you enter a fast corner like that you are commited you cant just slow down or move over because chances are if you do your going to upset the balance of the car and come off. What he should of done is slowed down a bit once he saw the golf and only overtaken when it was 100% clear.

The golf on the otherhand should of been more aware, as a slow car he should understand there will be a lot faster cars out there so he should check mirrors etc.

if either of them had done one of the above then it would of been avoided therefore i say they are equally responsible.

The thing is he was 100% clear when he went to go through. I don't understand why people keep saying he should have waited until he was clear. Wait for what? The golf was already on the other side of the track?

Perhaps the radical could have slowed a bit, that's just preventative though, the golf is still to blame for the crash.

Must spend too much time looking in your mirrors imo. Might get a better time if you keep an eye on the road ahead.

From the looks of things there never was enough room for the radical to fit through there with out catching some curb or grass,

And tbh the golf isn't on the "other side" of the track he's in the middle and if anything slightly over to the left before the radical is even close.

It's a fucking track day not a race to the finish.

Pretty sure your just being you trolling self like normal.

Just rewatch the vid and cover up the radicals view.

The line he takes is just a nice easy line, but ultimatly he was always going to close that gap up regardless of what was coming. I suppose you could argue that the radical may of thought because he wasnt tight up to the corner then he must of been letting him through, but this is what happens when you assume something.

Very similar event happened in the f1 today... Sergio and kimi,

Going by what they said Actual f1 race drivers, the radical would be at fault.

No one was defending anything just taking their line.

Was kimi defending or just hitting the apex going round the corner? If he hadn't turned in he'd have been cutting across the chicane.

it was summed up on page 1, 100% golf, if your going into a corner like that you MUST check your mirrors and have good spacial awareness, the radical could be seen 5 seconds before, which means he neevr looked for over 5 seconds around him.
But i agree the radical should have played a more cautious approach as theyre was clearly noobs on the track.

Any pics of the damage caused to the golf anyway? Shouldnt imagine being spun out at about 70-80mph would be very nice.
