The club made him close it as he was gettign angry with the rumours of coke/impending retirement (which FYI are bullshit, pics are posted of him almost daily in the gym at Arsenal etc.)

its simple mate, look at the outs, then look at the ins (and factor in the costs too ) and then try and plug the gaps... worrying IMO! Liverpools activity is just plain odd but im sure hes not done as yet and Spuds is so so - King and Kranjcar out, Vertonghen and Siggurdsson in BUT theyve lost Adebayor (thus far) and allowed Saha and Nelsen to go with Gallas rumoured to be available and Modric likely to go (impressed with Daniel Levy's steadfastedness tbh!) added to the huge gaps they ahd with injuries at the end of last year and looks very bizarre.
Thus far, as said we are the clear clear winners. Obv RVP going would weaken us but Giroud, Podolski and Cazorla all look like fabulous signings and if Diaby and WIlshere () can get fit then we are lookign good. RVP, Walcott and Song all to deal with at present though so may change my mind yet

Trphy wise? Nothing. But he dominated Barcelona across 2 Champions League ties and was by far and away one of the best player sin the Prem, at 18/19 years old. Did likewise for England.
Neymar got schooled by Barca in the ICC and didnt exactly excel in the Olympcis either, some way to go yet but if Wilshere can come bac (full stop!) and continue his development, he'll be one of the best players in the world!
