cleaned my bike last night  had a breif ffs moment followed by a massive relief and 
clipped it into the work stand, cleaning the chain then went through the gears, then pressed brake (whilst the were loose), the tyre stopped, thought nothing of it until i went to try again and the lever went straight down and didnt move a thing took me ages to realise it was because the cable was pressed against the frame from the stand lol.
also whilst cleaning i noticed that the part that moves the chain up a gear on the pedals part (full of technical terms me), catches the chain itself when its going up/on to the bigger ring.... how do i fix this?

If its just rubbing it will be the cable tension or the adjuster screw on the front mech

yeah it just catches it, will have a look at adjusting it when i get in although iirc it only caught every so often in the revolution (cant be sure though I have slept since then).

On the reverb front, they are sold out of any of the decent drop ones (125mm) got my hopes up until I tried to order the post I wanted 420mm x 30.9mm 125mm RH Lever

I tried to order online, but each time I added the one I wanted it added the next available alternative unfortunately

Nearly got knocked off by 2 cars in the space of about 100 metres this morning.
One at a set of traffic lights, we all set off and some twat in a volvo decides he cant wait 5 seconds and squeezes by, wing mirror clipped my elbow. Naturally I called him a cunt. He didnt stop, no time obviously.
Then about 100 metres later at a round about, BMW pulls out on me as I am going round said roundabout. We both stop, I give him a death stare, he looks back then continues. No time, obviously.
On a brighter note, I got a KoM on strava last night up a hill, on my single speed. The person who I beat is the local Strava whore though so hes probably going to ride out tonight and go get it back.

so ive sheared off part of the front hub axle, the bit you place the quick release peg in to then turn the whole lot out so you can remove the wheel. £42.99 to replace it. get on. just means I'm gonna struggle if i have to take my wheel off until the new one arrives end of next week.
