Makes sense to get a big earner off the wage bill if he isn't going to be playing

Rumours we are going to bid £41m for Suarez, which activates a release clause and he's going to ask for a transfer.
Still can't believe AW is going for him with his awful history.

Fabregas and Suarez bids are a complete waste of time.

If Suarez ends up staying at Liverpool he'll act like a cunt all season. He deffo on his way out IMO, hopefully not to us though.

Yeah he will def leave liverpool but I can't believe arsenal want him, he really isn't their type of player at all. I still think City will buy him.
Imagine if AW buys Suarez and Nani and United get Fabregas It won't happen but the fans will literally kill themselves.

Kind of agree but like I heard someone say on the radio they can't be bidding blind, the player, the players agent or the club must have given some kind of indication they might be willing to move/sell them or they wouldn't go back with another bid

You can drop the pretend act
Like fuck any Arsenal fan would not want a world class, top 5 striker, at their club. Arsenal instantly look a much tougher prospect for anyone with a guy like Suarez up top.

Moyes confirms we've bid for Cesc for a second time.

They must think something can be done if they've bid again. Moyes isn't an idiot. Wonder if they've had a bit of a discussion with Cesc/his agents and they've given somekind of hint that if they can get Barca to accept then he'll come.

Its one of these transfers that the more it drags on, the more it looks likely to happen. I'm pretty certain Utd know if they can get the bid accepted they've got their man, otherwise why waste valuable time on it?

I'm trying not to get excited that we might end up with a midfielder that has some flair

I love how mick Harford has turned Newcastle down. Joe is really living up to his name of being the most attractive and influential name in football

Aye, but he can turn down your offer you know, or Arsenal could not bid

If AW lets Cesc go to Utd and doesn't use clause he'll be found in pieces in the Thames.
Fabregas for £25m is surely a no brainer?

Doubt it, Arsenal fans are used to getting raped for stuff now. They let them charge horrendous prices even though they win nowt, whats another missed signing going to do.
And like i said, he could turn your offer down to play for Utd.

I realise Spanish clubs operate differently but you would have to think any potential Barca manager would like to have been consulted on the sale of one of their top players.
