link fixed what do mean the lack of elevation don't see what the obsession with climbing is and how many feet you've climbed etc rode 8 miles tonight over 1000ft of climbing don't see whats wrong with that

using strava in the lift at your local shopping centre then driving home doesn't count ffs.

barnes has done twice the mileage and twice the rides and twice the elevation not sure if you can see a patteren immerging

So answer the question Barnes, what is the obsession with climbing and having more feet climbed. If it makes you feel more of a man then good luck otherwise it makes you sound like a prick.
And FYI last time I was down where Nick rides every bit of climbing was riden. They do not have an elevator there yet.
Perhaps you need to get out more and ride other places other than the north, perhaps you will then Realise climbing isn't everything and riding something flat can be just as rewarding.
Even just growing up a bit and quit making snidey comments might be a good start. Particularly with regards to people young and olds health whilst riding the same thing you have an interest in.

Just been for a lycra ride on a route I used to do a lot last year, way slower. I really don't do enough road biking anymore, favour a quick run instead usually.

I am fit pro barnes well fitter I don't need motivation to get out on my bike just 4 kids to look after means I don't get out as much as I would like but hey that's life

yes mate 4 3 girls 1 boy one is 18 the other is 14 6 and 2 so the young ones are a bit of a handful thankfully the 2 yr old is already pretty handy on a balance bike
