Get something subtle, like my mountain bike shoes for example.

Good ride around Chilterns last night except guy I was with got a puncture and we jsut coudlnt get the tyre back on, snapped 4 tyre levers in process. He had to limp back to a pub whilst we carried on back to car and then went in search. Didn't get home till 12:30. Knackered now!

Living the dream! Both are ok in the wet, Cannock more so.

We're going to Aston Hill Sunday. It's chalk based there and horrendous in the wet. Fingers crossed we only have showers and nothing heavy.

Cannock is amazing when it comes to draining, FoD less so.

I don't mind a muddy trail. It's just the rain I dont like riding in. Messes up my hair

I'm tempted by a tow bar and row bar rack. Fucking silly money for a tow bar tho.

My mate just spanked a load of money on a tow bar and Thule tow bar rack, it worked wonders on his family weekend away with 'normal' bikes. One Wednesday he offered to drive us for some off-roading, our full suss bikes were much more of a pain. Couldn't get the proper clamps through the bike frames to secure them. Ended up just bungy cording them all which was fine but shame seeing that these trips were the main justification he gave to wife

That's a good point that Simon as that's what I've been looking at. Some of the ones don't look too useful for full sus, I'd need to have a good look before I get one. Probably better just getting roof bars?

Zed doesn't get trashed with bikes on or in it!

I take Bea's car or get driven by her or friends.

Tempted to sell the Zed and buy something more practical in all honesty.

Are you a hobbit?

Decided to strip paint off mine. Going to buy a few bits for it and then probably still not ride it. I'm after a black crank but dont know the first thing about sizes etc!
