i am having great fun trying 2 get it all perfect tho JOKE!!! think i must have thought i was body pannel expert and forgotten i am actually a chef when i started the car! opps silly me, no going back now tho i guess!
yea it will pass a mot - i hope! cant c y having no boot will stop it passing mot! think that will b least of my probs when mot comes up! lol

mot will be fine mate. anyone can rub filler mate. the hard bit is putting the filler on so you dont have to rub it much etc. iam getting there but still got a long way to go before its perfect yet.
the quality of the filler helps alot also

yea i used 2 use cheep stuff then went for betta one and less pin holes but still starting 2 hate the stuff! lol
giving up on body work for while now and gonna paint engine bay i think and fit fuel tank etc back in! need change, body work is driving me mad! literley!

i got an idea,
i know the boot is smoothed in, however how about having some sort of systems so its not the boot that opens, but the glass,
you could some how attach the glass to boot lifters like normally, but use some sort of sticky pad for attaching it to the boot glass,
you sometimes see on some old american cars where the boot stays and just the glass moves,
that would be prety cool if you ask me,
only problem you might have is try to hinge the boot glass
