I dont drive a corsa, i just dislike rover's... and think the 220t is nothing to rave about, looks particularly bland... 2dr verion of the countless 214SLi's out there

Ive been in one, and the wallnut dash baffles me

Rover 220 Turbos arent shite, fair enough its a Rover. But its still got a 2.0 16v turbo pushing out 200bhp and will charge on to 150mph.

Having said that they are fragile engines!!! Head gasket anyone!!

The SRi isnt even the top of the range model, maybe thats why they arent all that fast. GSi is the top model and is muchos fun!

Also not all Rover's are slow grandad cars. The 600Ti isnt slow for its size and the 200Vi is by no means slow and can give a good race to standard VTS's and 106GTi's.

glad to see some of you are grown up enough to realise that just cause its a rover don't mean pipe and slippers.
Marc, the head gasket issue with the 220 turbo is not the one you're thinking of (I doubt anyway), you're prob referring to the k series issue where it fails shit loads, the t series (the turbo) does have a head gasket issue in that it seeps oil down the right hand side of the block, its no big deal, just top up a bit every so often, alternatively I could just swap it for the uprated gasket but I'm a lazy bastard, lol.

And nath, good call on pointing out that there are some fast rovers, as you say, the 600 ti which has the same engine as the 220 turbo, yay, lol.

And on one final note, I can keep up with a skyline
Although at the mo my clutch is fucked and I'm struggling to keep up with angie's 8v 1.2 corsa, lol.
I'm off now to go fix my clutch, see ya all in a few hours

I like rover Turbs

They are a bit odd, which is what i like about them

I like the amerinth purple ones and thery are cheap as chips ive even consideed buying one before i considered the LET
