cyclones are 15inch one on the top pic are lions which are 17inch cyclones, were made by wheelmania and are no longer made, when sets come up for sale they go for about a grand, as they are rare and very sought after.

Comparing a 2.0 Corsa to the 106 Gti the main difference is the power delivery.

The Corsa is all about low rpm grunt where as the 106 gti needs to be revved.

It depends what you want really.

The 106 can easily be modded to produce 140+bhp with breathing mods only, adding 708 cat cams/remap gives 157-164bhp.

My advice would be to go for a car that has the 2 prong head engine (1999 - 2002 i think) as these heads flow 6% better than the others.

means nothing, just a fancy name although it probably means its been designed with tuning in mind rather than looks and/or sound

The Grp N centre section is only compatable with the grp N backbox.. unless you do some welding...

The group N isn't the be all & end all exhaust wise on a 106.

I feel the Magnex produced better torque at low rpm and pretty much the same top end but i put that down to the rare silenced decat pipe i had fitted at the time... the grp N only has a resonator box further along the system and then the back box.

2 prong means nothing lol... Only in rare cases and it definately means nothing if on your 2 prongs you have a EGR valve!

Rob - if your's is a 2 prong head and you said you couldn't break into 15's on 1/4 mile - and mine is not a 2 prong head and I got 15.3 with just exhaust + filter, doesn't that prove this '2 prong talk is nonsense in most cases'

2 prong head flows 6% better Paul, its a proven fact.

I agree that 2 prong head with EGR aren't anything special.
