no i have owned and built 1.4 and 1.6 sports.

I can safetly say that the FSE boost valve is NOT doing you any favours.

You will need a new inlet maniflod and Remap to be keeping VTS's

only neccessary on higly tuned engines, will overfuel your car, and as you said its already doing this.

Better off putting it to standard, then getting a new inlet manifold and remap.

All he said was he beat one right? not that the Corsa GSI is actually a faster car? with road conditions ect maybe a corsa GSI may sometimes win, altho my 106 gti when not broken does go quite quick with only

4-2-1, Pugsport Exhaust
and ramair induction kit.

Think mines about 900kg running 135Bhp.

1.6 16v is still 0nly just over 100bhp stil some 15bhp behind the VTS. With breathing mods your mates saxo could easily get 140bhp+

trust me i have had both a 1.4 and 1.6 sport and the only saxos i could beat where standard spec ones, even then there was little in it and that was with 130bhp+

my mates = standard VTS

No, he's got an ind kit.... weather its giving him more power or not but its not totally "standard" is it.

Going round roundabouts... i leave him for standing (not that bad but thats the flaw in a VTS compared to mine

Agree with you Rob b, Cit arnt gona invent both a vtr and vts and have them the same speed ect, so asuming the corsa is standard running 100-110Bhp, how then does the corsa zap the VTS? i never had any such probs with my 106 GTI been troubled by them

a VTR is similar to corsa sport 1600 speeds. and VTS is faster and more like corsa C20Xe speeds

im not making it out to be anything.

Im saying as far as performance goes, a VTR is similar to a 1600 corsa a VTS is similar to a C20XE corsa.

This is based on 1/4 miles i have done and witnessed in standard 106's, ie 15.3 and 1/4 miles I have witnessed from standard corsa 20XE's

wether or not you consider that fast is irrelevant

Well if you can beat your mates VTS in your 1400, then clrearly it's not a VTS and you're being led on.. which mean's you are a retard

He might have the electric upgrade supercharger on the x14xe which would make it run at least 190bhp

1.6 sport is 9.3 secs to 60mph and 16.8 1/4 miles

VTS is 7.5 secs to 60mph and 16 secs 1/4

Even with a few breathing mods he will leave you both in corners and the straight.
