it all depends how much you want to stop the problem, whilst keeping features such as PL

clearly informing people kindly hasnt worked, future fixes will involve some work.

ban reason page shouldnt take much time, just would need an extra field in the users table, or a new banned users table, containing a reason id

Sounds lovely and if you know anyone trustworthy enough to be given access to the db who co-incidently also has enough knowledge to program it then I'm all ears.

Edit - they must also work for nothing btw.

I may have recommended to someone that hosting elsewhere is ok but I also u2u'd the person about their garage hosted pic. The reply I got was that it was in a hidden garage.

meh, not the end of the world imho.

The issue is undoubtedly pics hosted in garages, and possibly elsewhere. iirc (and I haven't been a member long) 'the' threads of previous years have been ok.
