I honestly can't think of anything to call the scum bags who did this. The worst thing is they will have no remorse. They dont realise that hard earned money has gone into this car and also alot of hard work.

FFS whats with this RIP crap, its a car not a human,

anyway bit unforunate its been burnt out, but if it was me i would be kind of glad it went that way, that way you will get a payout with no hassle, not sure i would want a car back that was nicked anyway

Steve that car was one of the nicest and cleanest Renault 5's I have seen.

End of the day that car will never be seen again and I have drove the car alot of times and its a shame it has gone.

That's proper harsh...

I wouldn't want to pay up, as they'd blatently just nick the cash and the car again or raise the money or whatever.

I can understand the police being useless! These people who say 'Why don't you arrange to meet and then get the police to follow you' have been watching too many movies - Police wouldn't allocate resources to assign officers to your every whim sadly... not over 1 person's car

The sad thing is, if this happened to me, I'd get about £2000 if I was lucky from the insurance... but the amount spent on engine / suspension / gearbox etc alone is worth over 3k! So in total I'd be losing a £5000 car for £2k back
