What's he had then, 2 good halves of different seasons in an far inferior league? Does that make him better than any of the players mentioned in my last post?

Why are you bringing McGeady into this, is he a right back or have you just got a wee chip on your shoulder?

No way is Finnan better, guy offers next to nothing going forward, Neville hasnt played in about a year & Richards isnt playing right back for City.

Eboue & Sagna are really good players but i dont see how they are better than Hutton, i think Hutton provides 10 times the threat going forward than both of them

Neville is the best full back of his generation, Finnan has been to 2 Champions League finals. Eboue and Sagna are both full internationalists playing for the Premiership league leaders.

Hutton has played well for what equates to 1 full season allbeit he has been superb especially in Europe and for Scotland but i don't see how he can compare to those 4.

I 100% agree about Neville, but he hasnt been playing so he cant be compared at present. Finnan isn't good enough imo to be playing for Liverpool as i dont think he offers enough.

Hutton is a full Internationalist playing for the league leaders in Scotland who is attracting alot of interest from England and if someone does sign him, he will be one of the most expensive right backs in the Country

Also, this was about right backs, Sagna is your current right back isnt he so Eboue cant be considered as he normally plays in midfield

Exactly my point, if you believe a couple of half seasons in an inferior league makes you better than a Premiership regular playing for 1 of the top 4 then there's at least a wee bit of bias creeping in.

I'm man enough to admit he's a better full back than anything we have or have had in a while at the minute but he's not Neville, Sagna, Eboue class imo.

The thing with that as much as he has been outstanding in the SPL, its in Europe & playing for Scotland where he has stood out, its easy to criticise saying its the SPL but up against the best in players in Europe & in Internationals he hasnt looked out of place which shows his abiltiy imo

I hope United don't sign hutton, i don't see the point in signing a player for £10million when you can offer our current first team right back a bit more a week and save millions,

Wes Brown has been very good for us this season, and never gets the credit he deserves
