Depends on his price range tbh. If he knows what price he has in mind, colour etc.. get him to sign up on Seatcupra.net and have a look about.

Usual VAG issues such as water pump failure is common, leaky seals on doors or pollen filters, failed window regulators and climate consoles. However most of these issues would have been addressed by the current owners as they need to be sorted quickly.
