i bought some double sided foam tape from 'Wilco Motosave' for about £3. its really strong stuff....

however it has started to come away very slightly at the edge so think im going to redo it when the engines built using some 'tiger seal' aswell

UPDATE:

Well.... SHE RUNS

had a few problems with the power box drawing in air so idles all over but the main thing is it runs with no nasty noises....

going to flush the coolant and oil tomorrow, and re-fit the power box again and all should be well, fingers crossed!

also the cambelt covers slightly catching the crank pully so will tweak that

all is well

UPDATE:

Well changed the oil and filter today, what a bitch it was to get off.... so akward and whoever put the last one on did it far, far to tight....

had to take the cambelt back off aswell as the rubbing noise was actually the crank pully rubbing on the cambelt tensioner bolt could have been very nasty if it locked up! we didnt relise that the old bolt was different to the new on....

had another air leak from the air manifold but played around and got it to seal fine so idles alot better now

Anyway took her for a run and done 15-20 miles all ok

Also gave her a good clean which it needed

Again Gaz, thanks for all the help, hopefully jst some tidying up to do now before PVS

Really like the skirts in black, are they just gsi reps?
