Strange isnt it.. The 5.7 Monaro averages 27mpg and goes up to about 38mpg on the motorway in 6th, thats better than my 2.2 omega!

The astras averaging 27mpg!!!!

Wait till the foot hits the floor, it'll probably be down to single figures Even the astra gets down to 6.9mpg in standard guise.

3mpg, aim for it

I was driving like miss daisy and it was just motorway. at one point the instant consumption was 41mpg..
if you boot it in 1-2-3 it gets around 6mpg

if its in 6th and you boot it, you get 11mpg

so its not all THAT bad lol
