Agree with that Joe. I'm sure if you were to just look for anything, forget the level of pay or what you actually have to do, and whether your looking locally or an hour drive away, you CAN find a job.

I can't go an hour away(no car) Most jobs available around my area you have to be fully qualified. And because im going to Uni next year i can't do an apprenticeship. So choices for me are pretty small.

If you really wanted a job you'd get one. The only time I spent longer than 6 weeks out of work was when I voluntarily did it to spend some time doing volunteer work.
Last time I was made redundant I was applying for at least 15 jobs a day

Agreed, I got made redundant when the towers came down and we hit the 1st recession.
I went from working in a law firm, to working in a pub. I even worked on xmas day, earning less money at triple time than I would have on my proper day job rate.
I also worked cleaning cars for a summer.
Work is out there, you just have to go and find it.
When going for my first IT job I spent 6 weeks ringing every company who had something to do with IT from the yellow pages.

Afternoon
Receptionist/administrator is on holiday the rest of the week and the office manger is at home dying so it means I have to do my job, and then answer the phone all the time, sort the post out, sort out visitors and tell people that keep asking where the aforementioned two people are where they are because they can't be bothered to look in the office calendar.
Someone suggested that I come in a skirt tomorrow because I'd "make a well good receptionist"

Someone find me a job within a 5mile radius of Burnley then, which you don't need specific qualifications for.

Who gives a fuck at least you'd be trying to get something. IMO you're proving my point with making excuses before you've even looked

I know someone who works for Royal Mail and he works the local villages. I've seen him collecting from my village before which is about 5 miles from where he lives. I think you go to the sorting office in the morning then go out from there, go back there at the end of the round or whatever then go home at the end of the day.
My new TV is the 22" version of this Can't find the 22" one on the site, so maybe the 23" is the replacement which is why the 22" is on offer

No it wasn't an excuse what i was asking was if they would take me on without means to travel over Christmas to deliver for them. I'll go on the website now anyway.

First site, not particularly sensible but the first page without any criteria set.
Have you even looked ? Called every bar, pub, club, restaurant, chippy, corner shop, highstreet shop, local business and been turned down by all ?
