GTi is fun, quick, handles well and you get what you pay for
Exactly what I want TBH
I'm leaning more towards the VTS as IMO it's slightly better looking

tax sorted, 120 quid for 6 months bird shit cleaned off the car,
washer bottle filled up so stupid warning light goes off,
now i need a tank of petrol as it's empty and a new tyre
only got paid today and it's all going to be gone by the weekend.

Mines brilliant, second one i've had. 1.6 vts hdi messed to feck running 179bhp and 280lb/ft. Wouldn't have anything else as it holds so well through corners, brilliant acceleration and great fun on b roads.
Petrol vts' can be tuned equally high but with more money thrown at them, but they give back low 30's (mpg)

Thing is I'd have to go up once with my dad to have a look round and then go up again once my car is standard to trade it in. Can't see him wanting to drive three hours each way, especially if it turns out it's not that great

Originally was mapped, got to 130something. 207 GT HDI intercooler bodged in, removed dpf and fitted full exhaust, remapped and made 150something however was smokey as hell
New turbo, viper filter, DPF back on, boost controller, new intercooler, custom manifold and back box, uprated clutch then remapped by rallytec.
Sorted

No you have been very quiet on this site
Yes bigger which means i do get a lot of lag but without it i couldnt get anywhere near the figures. Need to look at internals but so little has been developed for the hdi it has to be custom = lots of monies which i dont want to throw away at the moment Will get the full specs, but off to a meeting with BT so it can wait.
