when someone was breaking into my nova, i went outside with my air rifle and shot the lad in his ankle. tried to have me done for abh, but police turned a blind eye.

my dads cossie from years ago was parked up outside a shop, dad was in shop, and when he came out some lad was under the ignition messing about obv trying nick it, so my dad asks if he is ok, this lad replys with some bull about its his car and it wont start, so my dad shows him the keys and said "these normally help", then beat him pretty bad. he got 9 months for that.

someone once kicked my car door in when car was parked in my mums old street-as i was looking out the window, so i ran out and kicked him back. a few times.

my uncles works van was parked on esporta gym recently, and 2 lads ragged rear door open and started trying steal all his dewalt tools, funny thing is though, that they were caught on cctv, loading his tools into another van.

which had their contact numbers on. and address.

my uncle got his tools back.

In spite of the fact that the damage was already done, that outcome is so sweet I can almost taste it.

this is a well know sorta thing happened to my work mate he was 17 they must of been watching to u for sometime knowing your routine etc, my mate had his keys next to his bed which they took to his 07 plate clio, his yamaha r6 bike 56plate, his dads bmw m3, his mums a4 1.8T and his sisters seat ibiza keys, luckily they only took the m3 and bike but took the keys for the rest, his sisters bf was there that night too and he got a corsa vxr but dint see the keys, like u say they after parts to order as there was cash layin about the house untouched his bike got trashed and the m3 written off, it was only because the it was 3am his mum heard walking on the shingle drive and caught them out... its best not to have them bk like u say god knows what theyve done to them not caring unlike yaself mate

still, a good clobbering is going to teach them a lot more than community service or a month/night in the cells.

doesn't sound like damage will deem it a total loss. If the vehicle is within a certain age since registration, and a total loss it is usually replaced with a new car
