K3 VMU, I couldn't feel gear changes because the toe area of the boot is so stiff. Maybe i'm a little fickle for feel.

Oliver/Daimo, you're wrong! The later shape RS250 is miles better. I've ruined mine in your eyes haven't i?! But thats another argument.

Everyone says Italian bikes have the most style/best looking but i reckon the Japs are catching up. I love the shape of the '06 onwards R6. Mine was an '07 and loved it and a little peice of me misses it. My favourite Jap bike of all time though has to be the Yamaha R7. I'll probably never own one, but i can still hold the dream!

My old R6

Why?

I love this fact.

Spent tens of thousands on a car thats 1/10th as fast as the bike? Or buy a cheap economical car, and have a few bikes that will outpace a Porsche Turbo?

and then meet this people in a enviroment such as the nurburgring, and pass them in a astra with slicks and to many doors............

Snoooooooze

You cannot beat hanging off the side of a bike at 100mph. Makes sitting in a car seem absolutly boring The biker would sit in the car, falling asleep.

tbh, the ring is really not a bike place, I would never take my bike there. A car, yeah deffo, its on the list of things to do, but not a bike.

Try catching me at Brands I was hitting just over 140 at the end of the start/fin straight

Earlier RS's are nicer, don't like curvy backs on bikes eg gsxr.
There are quite a few of those "RS500" converted bikes.

Don't get me wrong I like bikes, but the disadvantages of having a bike outweigh the advantages imo...

Yea but it's all the hassle mate, my mate sometimes rides his bike to college, he normally get's there on time but then he's 10 mins late because of all the stupid body armour he wears (can't afford proper leathers ) then there's the helmet, gloves, limited storage space....

Why not just drive? the only downside to driving is the traffic....

I will always remember I raced a bloke on a bike on a twisty road which I know very well has a few sharp and long bends and one big straight... he overtook me on the straight doing about 90.. so I thought fair game I'll give him a race because I want to see him absolutely nail me (baring in mind this is when I had my corsa) but he couldn't we came out of the sharp and long corners to a straight and he pulled over to the left to let me buy

Unless you have stupidly good talent and or balls of steel as soon as the road gets twisty a semi quick car won't struggle to keep up imo...

Ow, target fixation. It's fucked up, I bet he watches that over and over again thinking, "Why didn't I just go left instead of braking?"

Depends on the rider tbh, ever watched how fast some of those guys corner around tracks? Bet the cars aren't much faster if at all.

Cars are much much easier to drive fast than bikes IMO. With bikes I generally believe you either have the talent to push the limits or you don't, with a car you can make mistakes and recover from them.

Bikes require balls of titanium.

Cars requires balls made of wool.

For those that think bikes can't go round a corner quickly:

You just have to have balls of steel, which 99% of us haven't got lol. I know I wouldn't dare do what they do.
