Loads of been massive deflections like that. The two last week certainly wouldnt of been goals unless they got the touch.

I cant remember the other 7 like

Id like to know that record actually, as 10 must be right up there.

Saying that I expect Chavski hold it, as with Lampard in their team they are bound to of had about 20 OG in a season.

Quoting this and passing it off as my own, better bait coming from a united fan

The thing is, Id of taken it seriously if he hadnt of said since he took over.

If you compare the squad he inherited and the one now its fairly clear its about 10000x better

Yep Liverpool have one decent striker who is always on the physio's table and a captain who has spent a lot of time there as well. They would be better off with 3 average strikers all capable of scoring than 1 great one who is always injured.

O and the squad he inherited won the champions league. The current one cannot even get out of the group stages

So who were these players who could all score in the squad Rafa inherited?

9 from Kuyt, 5 from Gerrard and Benayoun, 4 from Ngog.

Compare that to the next 4 after Rooney for United...Berb 8, Valencia 5, Fletcher 3, a few on 2.

Hardly any different there is it?

Yeah - the squad plus Alonso (scored 2nd goal in the final), Garcia (scored winning goals in quarter and semi finals) and Cisse.

Id have agreed last season - but the guy has taken the piss tbh. If you watch full games and not just high lights, you can see he just doesnt bother trying at all.

And where are they all now?

Best playmaker you have ever had has gone as the waiter upset him, garcia was used iirc as a make weight in the torres deal and cisse well he was not the best but 100 times the player Ngog is.

Rafa is terrible in the transfer market, while ferguscum finds £10m players worthy or wearing the strip the waiter finds £10m-£20m shithouses.

TBH if i was him i would risk Babel over Ngog at every match.

Neither should be in the position they are in though. The should be playing for Hull, Blackburn or Bolton.

Granted about Alosno, he did piss him off, but he was always going to leave if Madrid came sniffing around with the players they bought last summer. Still turned a £10.5m signing in to a great player (proves your point wrong).

Garcia was a cheap signing used to get Torres, he wanted to leave as was homesick anyway (search back on Liverpool site and you'll find an open letter to fans he wrote when he left).

Cisse technically was Houlliers signing, just came when Rafa started. Two broken legs = end of any decent career for us.

And who are these shit houses he has signed between £10-20m? He hasnt made a huge amount of signings in this price bracket to be fair. Babel is certainly one. Keane is another (although he didnt decide to plash that much on him). Others include Masch, Johnson and Torres.

3 of those were less than £10m (Vidic and Evra). If we're including those then Reina and Agger could be included, even Kuyt at £7m.

Ronaldo is the main one I can think of, which was obviously a great signing. Id hardly class him as some master of signing £10m players though as it appears is being made out

Nah, heinze was massively over-rated, far too many rash decisions and mistakes

Which is highlighted now by the fact he plays for marsaille

3 of those were less than £10m.

If you want between 10-20m then include Nani, Tosic, Hargreaves, Anderson, Valencia.

Christ if you want to expand the bracket up a bit then Veron and Berbatov.

Dossena, Bellamy, Pennant, Lucas, Sissoko

I can only think of 3 players who would when fit make it into any of the top 4's starting 11.
