Sorry to drag an old thread up!

Got my Exotic framed bike finished this last week too! My intentions were to to buy the frame and seat post then transfer over all the other bits from my old Focus bike. That plan soon went out the window thanks to spending too much time browsing here, Merlin, Chain Reaction etc...

The only things that transfered over are the wheelset, saddle, brakes, peddles and mud guards.

Spec is...

Exotic 17" carbon frame
Exotic Matrix II carbon seatpost
Exotic Matrix II 90mm stem
Exotic headset
USE Atom carbon oversize 1" riser bars
Rockshox Reba Team 100mm forks
Avid Elixir R brakes with 185mm rotors all round
Superstar Components wheelset (Trizoid 120 rear hub, Switch Evo front hub, Superstar AM rims)
Shimano XT full groupset
KMC coloured chain
Goodridge cables
DMR V12 peddles
Charge Spoon Ti saddle

I'm quite pleased with the bike as its my first attempt at building a bike. Things I'd like to try in the future are carbon forks and a set of slick or semi slick.

To be fair it does what it says on the tin... for the off-roading I do its fine, not sure how it would be if you were doing some serious down hill

This is basically what my bike is like though I've got Manitou R7 MRD forks and Fox Van-R rear shock and a few other differences like stem/bars brakes pedals etc, so basically I have the same frame lol
